Every month we round up some of our favorite new (and new to us!) veg-friendly products to share. Here’s what we’re loving right now:
PROBAR Live // Stephanie and I always joke about the amount of probiotic-related content we have over on Hello Glow. But seriously: probiotics are amazing. These protein bars have 10 grams of plant protein per serving with the added benefit of live probiotics. The Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip variety legit tastes like a candy bar. So good.
Clio Greek Yogurt Bars // Have you noticed that a lot of the froyo out there… doesn’t really taste anything like yogurt? It kind of makes you wonder how much actual yogurt is in it. These chocolate-covered Greek yogurt bars taste like the real thing and come in a variety of amazing flavors like Strawberry, Hazelnut, Blueberry, Honey, Espresso, and Vanilla. They can even be refrigerated and can last up to 12 hours out of the fridge, making them perfect for school lunches. And each bar has 8 or 9 grams of protein per serving. Woot!
Amazing Grass Hydration Tablets // As much as I try to make the wheatgrass thing happen for me, it just doesn’t. I really want to like it, but: nope. So I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about these superfood tablets from Amazing Grass, but I’m happy to report that I love them. Drop them in a glass of water and you get a fizzy, fruity drink with a super greens bonus. The Watermelon Lime ones are my fave.
Mike’s Might Good Craft Ramen Vegetarian Vegetable Ramen Soup // Styrofoam ramen noodle cups are the food of desperate college students everywhere, so it might be hard to muster excitement about ramen noodles. But get excited! Because these are actually really tasty. The broth is super flavorful without tasting like a sodium bomb, the noodles have the perfect amount of chew to them, and the cups are made of cardboard so you don’t get that faint styrofoam flavor along with your ramen. These are a total win.
Watermelon Waterloo Sparkling Water // Whenever I’m at Whole Foods, I pick up a case of this stuff because it’s become my afternoon pick-me-up lately. The fizziness and watermelon flavor are impossible to resist.
Brami Beans // I don’t really know how to describe these except to say they’re kind of like giant edamame beans that have been marinated. You sort of either love them or hate them–my daughter and I love them, but my husband is not a fan. With 60 calories and 7 grams of protein per serving, they’re a great snack to pop when your energy is flagging.
Quinn Snacks Truffle Butter Popcorn // As if Quinn microwave popcorn couldn’t get any better, they went and made a version topped with truffle butter. Sigh. And it’s made with real butter, not that neon yellow faux butter stuff you find in other microwave popcorn.
Lundberg Farms Vanilla Chai Grounded Snacks // Lundberg is my go-to brand of rice, but other than the occasional package of rice cakes, I haven’t bought many of their snacks. I decided to try these because, hello: Vanilla Chai. They’re especially perfect for pairing with chocolate chip cheesecake dip!
Forage Kombucha // If you can find this locally, buy it. Whoa is it good. Also, cans are so much easier to bring along with you than the traditional glass bottles that kombucha is usually found in.
Coconut Better Stevia // Lately I’ve been starting every morning with a cup of cold brew stirred with macadamia milk and a few drops of this stevia. Coconut iced coffee FTW.
Disclosure: Some of these products were sent to Hello Veggie to review, others are things we’ve bought ourselves, but everything here is something we totally love.
