Every month we round up some of our favorite new (and new to us!) veg-friendly products to share. Here’s what we’re loving right now:
Secret Squirrel Cold Brew // With a name like Secret Squirrel, you know it’s going to be good. And it is! Their individual bottles are perfect for that morning commute pick-me-up and they come in flavors like Dark Chocolate Mocha, Caffe Latte, Chicory, and Vietnamese Coffee.
Tcho Mango Lassi Bar // Who doesn’t love mango? Honestly. This fragrant, tropical-inspired chocolate bar was made for summer, with creamy white chocolate, cardamom, yogurt, and of course: mango! My 4-year-old and I totally fought over who would get the last piece.
Dona Spice Soda // The makers of Dona chai have rolled out a line of sodas now! The flavors–Juniper Lime with Chamomile & Elderflower, Pink Peppercorn Lemon, and Turmeric Honeybush with Orange & Black Pepper–are complex without being weird. The kind of sodas you really need to sit down and savor.
Canyon Bakehouse Gluten-Free Hawaiian Sweet Bread // Does anyone else feel an overwhelming sense of joy upon seeing cubes of Hawaiian bread alongside spinach dip at a party? Surely it’s not just me. Hawaiian bread is magical, just like the glorious islands it hails from, and now you can get your Hawaiian bread gluten-free. Woot! Also: Canyon Bakehouse has amazing stay-fresh packaging so you can buy a loaf and not feel like you have eat the entire thing in a day. (Although you may want to because: Hawaiian bread.)
White Leaf Provisions // As the mom of a micro preemie (who just came home after 4 months in the hospital!), I am totally fixated on making sure we buy her the very best. So I’m excited to discover a new-to-me brand of baby food that’s made with biodynamic farming methods–a step above traditional organic agriculture. And White Leaf also makes Biodynamic Apple Sauce, which my preschooler has been digging.
Oh Snap! Pickles // My family has a Duggar-level adoration for pickles. (Am I the only one who still watches that show? Probably!) Oh Snap! has the traditional cukes, but also beans, carrots, peas, and jalapeños. Because they’re packed without brine, they’re perfect for snacking.
Hudsonville Dairy-Free Ice Cream // OH. MY. GOODNESS. This just might be the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. The Cherry Fudge flavor is everything, although after trying them all I can honestly say there’s not a dud in the bunch. They’re made with coconut cream, oat milk, and magic. (Okay, I made that last part up, but you’ll never convince me otherwise. Never!)
Better Booch // Better Booch! It really is better! The flavors in this line are amaaaazing–I mean, Golden Pear? Yes please. Rose Bliss? Lives up to its name. And if the thing that puts you off of kombucha is the ominous looking blob lurking at the bottom of the bottle, you’ll be glad to know that Better Booch doesn’t have that.
Wholly Rollies // We love Crazy Richard’s nut butters, so obvs their first foray into the snacking world is going to be delish too. Each little ball of real food goodness packs 3-4 grams of protein; I’ve been popping these as a breakfast on-the-go with my morning coffee.
Bobo’s Peanut Butter & Jelly Stuff’d Oat Bites // Who needs bread when you can have your peanut butter and jelly stuffed into a granola bite?! These are one of my daughter’s favorite snacks, although she’s a fan of the entire Bobo’s lineup (as am I!).
Disclosure: Some of these products were sent to Hello Veggie to review, others are things we’ve bought ourselves, but everything here is something we totally love.
